BOOM! Studios release a comic where every superhero experiences the corruption over the city and themselves in Incorruptible the graphic novel.

So this is one of the comics which focuses on the heroes from the other sides, but this comic is similar to the Irredeemable comic which I will review later. This comic-like the two versions of every Pokemon generation games, but this one is quite different because it’s two different worlds in every part of the story. And this comic focuses on a superhero who changed himself into a supervillain. This comic is created and written by Mark Waid and illustrated by some various artists. Before Mark wrote Irredeemable and Incorruptible, he’s known for his work on one of the titles on DC Comics and Marvel Comics. And this comic takes you something that is more similar to the DC multiverse comics like Dark Nights Dark Metal series

The front cover shows a monochromic series of three heroes who are corrupted during the crisis, and from the looks of it, they just entered the world of anti superheroes by chance. The cover art is made by John Cassaday and Jeffrey Spokes, and what I like about this cover is that the artist chose to have clever cover art to color in a blue monochrome along with the main characters splitting into 3 panels. This is probably the best cover art I’ve ever see, but if it’s not enough, then wait for my reaction for the Irredeemable comic on my next review. The story starts when this comic’s universe turned upside down when an anti-hero named Max Damage wreaks havoc all over the city, however, he ordered his partners to rob the diamonds and jewels, but unfortunately, they got caught by the police and Max Damage retreats by going back to a looking bat cave with full of cash all across the cave. The whole reason that he became a tyrant is that he wants to get his revenge on The Plutonian who destroyed Sky City. He became berserk and killed all the other superheroes in this city, and barely one of them are still alive. So Max and his wife, wanted the detective to help them solve their problems for Plutonian’s destruction of humanity, which could be more accurate like the horde of Batman Who Laughs. The story is really dark though, but once you read this, you’ll understand where all this coming from. Whoever the story between him and the Plutonian is to be told because all the other scenes are more than a massive battle with the anti-hero and his partner. But the whole plot claims that Max Damage is going on a soul searching and has made things right for him in order to become a superhero.

The story is quite dark, but as soon as you read this comic, the main character that you see doesn’t seem to be a bad person because of his mistakes. Either way, this is more of an adventure between the anti-hero taking revenge against the Plutonian because the way that this plot describes, it shows like anything that you’ve seen from Batman. Can I even call this comic a normal superhero because all the other scenes that I’ve witnessed is more than any other superhero comic that I’ve read? Just like the Black Hand and Iron Head comic from Image, it takes more than that to realize the whole purpose of the story when the hero became corrupted and he has to fix his own problems from the beginning. The art is made by some various illustrators who worked on this comic separately. One thing for sure is that the comic shows much more action than others combined. The characters though, I mentioned that the battles are that massive we could get to see the motions of the main characters who are fighting like a human and one of them fighting like a monster. Max Damage for example, on the first few pages, actually takes hits but he seems to be invulnerable to projectiles, but from an appearance, he looks like The Punisher who kills bad guys for justice. Every anti-hero has its traits, and this one seems to know when to take things seriously by force. So an Incorruptible graphic novel is a very dark comic to be read, and hopefully, this would excite you more than anything else right now.
