WHAT: Celebrate the Jersey Shore’s summer kick-off when WARNER BROS. PICTURES & LEGENDARY PICTURES PACIFIC RIM takes over the World Championship of Sand Sculpting. Sculptors from around the globe will construct a 12 foot PACIFIC RIM sculpture depicting the Kaiju and Jaeger in an epic battle to take back the Shore and prove they’re stronger than any storm. Whether faced with a hurricane or Kaiju, the Shore cannot be stopped! Check out the sculpture on June 29th for a chance to attend an advance screening at the IMAX Theater at Atlantic City’s legendary Tropicana Casino Resort.
ABOUT PACIFIC RIM – When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past.
