This September 5th through 7th, Baltimore’s Inner Harbor comes to life in high contrast colors with the return of the Baltimore Comic-Con at the Baltimore Convention Center! This year, we welcome Dan Didio, Andrew Pepoy, Khoi Pham, Marc Sparacio, and Brennan Wagner!

Dan Didio has been leaving his imprint on the DC Universe since joining the company in 2002 as Vice President of Editorial. Writing Superboy during his early tenure, his ascent in the ranks and contributions to the company have continued ever since. In 2010, Didio was named co-publisher of DC Entertainment. In addition to his editorial and managerial contributions, he continues to write comics, including The Outsiders, the Metal Men feature in Wednesday Comics, and coming up in September, Infinity Man and the Forever People: Future’s End and Trinity of Sin: Phantom Stranger: Futures End..

Andrew Pepoy’s early career was in the realm of fanzines, but he quickly transitioned to publishing work for large shops like DC Comics and Marvel Comics while still in college! Largely known as an inker (though an artist and creator in his own right, with works like The Adventures of Simone and Ajax), this Eisner Award-winning talent has worked on characters as diverse as Superman, Spider-Man, Scooby-Doo, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Simpsons, Godzilla, and Wallace & Gromit among many others. You can find his recent work on titles such as Fables from DC Comics, The Simpsons and Futurama from Bongo Entertainment, and Life with Archie from Archie Comics.

Khoi Pham is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania law school and was a practicing lawyer. Khoi Pham also holds a Masters in Business Administration. But Khoi Pham decided he wanted to be a comic book artist, and became one of Marvel Comics’ “Young Guns” early in his career. He has since worked on titles like Marvel’s X-Factor, Mighty Avengers, Daredevil, X-Men Legacy, and Cyber Force from Image Comics.

Mark Sparacio is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he studied under comics legend Will Eisner. His initial career took him into the advertising industry, but he eventually found his way to working in comics. Since joining the ranks of artists in the field, he has done covers for Billy Tucci’s Shi, Marvel’s Heroes for Hire, DC’s Green Lantern and Sgt. Rock, Moonstone’s Domino Lady’s Threesome, and interior work in DC’s Jonah Hex, and Moonstone’s Captain Action and Omega Paradox.

Brennan Wagner is a relative newcomer to the comics scene. A colorist hailing from Portland, OR, his credits to date include work on Dark Horse’s Dark Horse Presents and Number 13, IDW’s Hero Comics, Dynamite Entertainment’s The Shadow: Year One and Sherlock Holmes: The Liverpool Demon. He has also done covers for DC Comics’ Before Watchmen: Moloch and BOOM! Studios The Empty Man.

“What a fantastic group to add to our exceptional line-up,” said Marc Nathan, promoter of the Baltimore Comic-Con. “We’re bringing our fans industry leaders, award-winning illustrators, and up-and-coming talent, and we know they’re going to love meeting each and every one of them!”

The Baltimore Comic-Con will be held Friday, September 5 through Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Baltimore Convention Center, which is located immediately across the street from the historic Camden Yards sports complex (which includes Oriole Park and Geppi’s Entertainment Museum). Tickets, a full guest roster, and additional information is available on the convention’s website.
