The infamous villain from the first season of hit CW TV show The Flash, the Reverse Flash, has been immortalized in a statue.

All throughout the first season of the Flash, our hero was plagued by the villainous Reverse Flash. Eobard Thawne is a man from the future who is obsessed with the Flash. First, he ends up killing the Flash’s mother and then takes over the identity of Professor Harrison Wells, to become closer to the Flash. As the season played out, the Flash found out the truth and triumphed over the Reverse Flash. Now in a bigger twist, at the end of season 2, the Flash goes back in time to prevent Reverse Flash from killing his mother. This makes the Reverse Flash more prevalent than before, especially with Season 3 starting soon.

So is any wonder that DC Collectibles made a statue of this twisted character?

The statue is about 12.5 inches high. It ships in 2 pieces: the character and the base. Reverse Flash plugs easily into the base and stands extremely well on it’s own.

Sculptor Steve Kiwus has done an amazing job on this statue. Kiwus has really captured the menacing and hateful look on the character’s face. It’s just an amazing job. The statue is supposed to be actor Tom Cavanagh, but personally, I can’t see it in this sculpt at all. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as the character is pretty much covered from head to toe. But there is no doubt that this is the Reverse Flash. There’s no paint bleed at all, and the colors pop and yet muted at the same time. And then there are the red eyes. So much anger. Just plain amazing.

The price is around $130 which is around average for a statue of this quality.

This statue is a must buy for the Flash fan.

The Flash TV Series Reverse-Flash Statue is available at ShopDCEntertainment.com and at your local comic shops.

Special thanks to DC Collectible for providing us this amazing statue for review.
