Issue #5 is a kind of sidekick swap with Ravager spending the issue with Batman and Deathstroke with Robin

Ravager needs Batmans help to track down whoever took the contract out on her which he is grudgingly helping due to the fact Deathstroke has Robin held hostage. He may regret this as soon as Robin wakes he starts backchatting and trash talking Deathstroke, not quite the dutiful hostage.

Batman doesn’t trust Deathstroke and tells Ravager that all is not as it seems. He isn’t worried about what Deathstroke may do to Robin but rather what Robin may do to Deathstroke. Robin is pretty cool and doesn’t let the fact that he is slowly getting covered in water stop him from ripping into Deathstroke

Batman takes Ravager on his mission but when she interrupts with gunfire he protects the ‘baddies’ and reminds her that he doesn’t kill. They are both waiting for Robin when he escapes from his hostage situation and discovers Deathstroke is not even there. Batman reveals his thoughts about the contract and offers Ravager safety while Deathstroke confronts the Killer in a shock ending.

This is definitely Robins issue, he is funny and badass in the face of danger and proves Batman right with the fact he doesn’t need saving. Ravagers conviction is really put through the ringer as Batman makes her consider her situation and her relationship with her dad and face some truths about her life
