Boston Brands may be in over his dearly departed head on this one.
Deadman is a character I have only recently discovered properly, I’ve known of him but only started really reading his stuff but so far I think he is ace. There isn’t the same level of humour in this comic as I have seen from him but there isn’t a lot to be laughing about! He is stuck in a house with a ghost who can’t remember anything, a woman who has to pretend she can’t see him, a nonbinary person who he can’t possess and a mental shadow spirit who keeps kicking off, I’m surprised he finds the will for the funny moments that are here!!
This is turning into a real head scratching mystery (I can’t be the only one trying to solve it too) with a few answers revealing themselves albeit alongside more questions. What’s up with Nathans Headaches? and what does he do in his study? Are two I’m trying to work out first! Deadman seems to be in a unique situation for him as he is no longer fully in control and has to rely on Berenice to help him WITHOUT possessing her. Adelia is having an affect on him as well making him feel more and more ‘ghostly’ which is quite possibly not a good thing.
The issue ended with everything kicking off and a few wtf moments that simply complicate the situation more but it doesn’t half make it even more exciting. There are so many things going on to keep your attention peaked surely they have to be connected! I can’t wait to find out
