A flashback issue set before the second semester started and is based around a carnival midnight.

Olive and the gang are in the halls when they receive flyers for a carnival from a kid that Olive is drawn to but disappears into the crowd when she looks for him again. What could go wrong at a creepy carnival at night and that Headmaster Hammer has specifically forbidden them to go to? Obviously, they don’t listen and go anyway but it quickly becomes clear how big a mistake they made!

Olive ends up separated and into the hall of mirrors which although harrowing is nothing compared to what the rest of the gang are facing in the snake ladies tent all I will say is it ain’t your average side show! Headmaster Hammer ends up saving the day and shows a softer side when confronted with an old friend.

The gang is just as good at getting out of trouble as they are at getting into it even if they had a little help this time. Next issue is back to the present and we find out Colton’s fate, I wonder if Hammers intervention here will have an affect on his decision!
