“The Return of Wally West” comes to a speeding stop.

In the last issue, Abra Kadabra forced Wally to run all across the country to save is friends and as well as the woman. Having only seconds, Wally went faster than a speeder should and was absorbed into the Speed Force. Now the Titans must take on Kadabra by themselves. And what of Wally? Will he be trapped once more in the Speed Force?

Wow! This 1st story arc has just been purely amazing. Writer Dan Abnett has proven not only does he understand the dynamics of the Titans, but of Wally West himself. Abnett gets that the Titans are more than just former sidekicks. That they are more than just friend. He gets that the Titans are family and that family doesn’t mean you are linked by blood.

Plus the way Abnett draws on Wally’s history. Stories from Mark Waid and Geoff Johns. This is a character that Abnett truly understands.

And let’s not forget artist Brett Booth. His visuals really make this book come alive. Not just the action sequences, but just portraying the pure emotion of the entire situation. Bravo!

I’m not going to lie and say I’m not biased because I am. I grew up with the original Titans and seen them grow through the years. It’s so great to have a team on this book that I think feel the same way I do about them.

Now that this storyline is complete, I can’t wait to see where the Titans go next.
