“These sewers were never my shell. My family are. My brothers, my dad’s, my friends… they support me, protect me… teach me stuff that makes me stronger.”

In this latest issue, we find that the plumber was utterly killed by a parasites in the sewers known as the Wyrm that absorbs everything. However, three days later while Michelangelo is getting some pizza for his brothers (and for himself), he met a police officer down the sewers to search of that plumber who went missing for a few days ago. No other people actually met any creatures under the sewers, including the turtles. But then Michelangelo and Officer Lin were ambushed by the Wyrm, he claims that the sewers belong to him, but Michelangelo has to stop him from absorbing everything on the sewers, especially Officer Lin. The Wyrm, however, tells Michelangelo that he was watching him and his family from the beginning and learned about his strengths and weaknesses. Will he ever try to stop the Wrym and save Officer Lin? Or will Michelangelo ever delivers the delicious pizza to the turtles?

In my thoughts of this issue is really strong, but this issue has a little bit of graphic content depending about that the plumber was killed by some overgrown parasites who lived in the sewers. It’s hard to believe that the back story of the turtles can be this amazing. In this issue, we find that Michelangelo learns about his strengths and weaknesses in the art of the ninja, but he learned that his love of his family and friends makes him stronger. This is more likely for every TMNT fan to read, but if you haven’t read the issues, then this would be a good time to check it out and for the TMNT fans, you will feel the nostalgic series that you ever seen in the 80s.

There’s also a backstory of the turtles edited by Bobby Curnow, with the story and art by Brahm Revel, letterer by Shawn Lee, and publisher by Ted Adams. The back story focuses on Raphael tries to save a shop owner from a guy who tries to threaten and rob her store, while the other person is hiding behind Raphael and watch him doing his own thing. The story actually focuses on the way of the ninja because the story tells a question that a ninja is more of a shadow warrior who sneaks and defeat their enemies, but in the TMNT universe, their world is different from any ninja warriors that anyone would ever imagine.
