SEASON TWO RETURNS SUMMER 2017

There’s time to catch up on the first season of AMC’s critically acclaimed, twisted supernatural series“Preacher” before all Hell (and Heaven) breaks loose in season two debuting this summer.  Season one, comprised of 10 episodes, is now available On Demand and on AMC.com beginning today through Tuesday, April 4th with the first two episodes of the season available unauthenticated. Season one can also be streamed exclusively on Hulu beginning Wednesday, April 5th.

Based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s popular ‘90’s cult comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher” season one follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by the renegade spawn of an angel and demon and gains the power to control people with just a word.  Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Academy Award® nominee Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

“Preacher” season two debuts this summer with a genre-bending thrill ride that follows Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy as they embark on a road trip to find God, dealing with issues both worldly and other-worldly along the way.

The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (“This Is the End,” “Superbad,” “Neighbors”) and showrunner and executive producer Sam Catlin (“Breaking Bad”).  In addition to Catlin, the series is executive produced by Rogen, Goldberg and James Weaver for Point Grey Pictures, Neal H. Moritz and Ori Marmur for Original Film and Vivian Cannon, Jason Netter and Ken F. Levin.
