An emotional rollercoaster this week as we follow one of the romances of our generation!
There is a new God in town and he doesn’t reward weakness! Which leads to the strongest in Bedrock taking charge if their lives regardless of who suffers (remind anyone of anything?) Not only does Fred lose his job but one poor couple gets separated before they could even really begin. That’s right hoover and bowling ball have been growing closer in the past few issues and they get ripped apart as Fred gets a new ball! Hoover will not go down without a fight tho and goes to save its love!
It’s really cool to see the appliances get their very own little story arc mixed into the main theme and I was really invested in how their story ended it almost made Fred and the other humans into the back story, almost.
Again modern society is placed under the prehistoric microscope and portrayed perfectly with the rich getting richer and the poor poorer but unlike today Mr. Slate eventually sees the error in his ways and hopefully the rest of bedrock will follow.
As for our lovebirds and their rescue mission, well I’ll let you read it to find out if it was a success or not!!
