Amanda Waller has finally bitten off more than she can chew! Even she is going to struggle to get out of this one.
Something is happening that is probably not a good idea, it’s bound to affect the squad and no-one expected it to happen. That’s right Harley and Flag are knocking boots, don’t blame him in the slightest but what will Waller do when she finds out?
Waller might not have time to do anything as Zod is experiencing unexpected penetration as he cuts out his own brain bomb! So hardcore! And once it’s out there is no stopping him. Waller is definitely panicked she thought she could control Zod but clearly didn’t understand the lengths he could go to and even the Squad struggles to take him out. Zod has full control over the Phantom zone and uses it to release the ghosts of Krypton who are trapped inside and with them plans to conquer the world.
It doesn’t look like the Squad can do much to stop him and can barely handle the ghosts but with the last minute interjection of a few unexpected allies victory, all of a sudden becomes a possibility.
Love that Harley and Rick are finally acting on their building feelings but the star of the issue is Zod cutting the bomb out of his own head! What a scene and is just a perfect way, to sum up Zods character and what he is capable of
