From the actual old school Atari 2600 game console and the game of SwordQuest that had been released in the 80s, have finally turned into a comic book published by Dynamite.

Some of the fans from old school remember the classic video game consoles like the NES, Atari and some more. But most people remember playing some games for the Atari 2600, however, SwordQuest is one of them that had been showed at the video game museum according to the comic.

First of all, most people played Atari games since they lived in the 2nd generation of video games before the NES releases along with Super Mario Bros., and more. Therefore, the story takes place in the real world where there is an exhibition in the museum for video games. People had found the sacred sword from the game of SwordQuest, however, people are trying to protect that piece of art just to not to give someone to their wrong hands. Everyone have talked about the legendary sword from the game, it was too rare that so many gamers want to own it for themselves. Well everyone actually remembered the game on their childhood, Peter remembered it well when he had that sword for his birthday, and then suddenly his own friend and other people are actually jealous of him. But right now, he had such a terrible stomachache, but it almost seemed like he had cancer, and said that he’s going to die soon, but all this nonsense is coming from is that sword from this birthday, and he needs it so bad. Will he get his sword back after all years to jog his own memory?

To be fair, the sword itself is more of every fan boy’s dream to get it into their own hands. From video games, comics, to comic conventions and to gaming tournaments, the sword from SwordQuest is more than a legend to have a sword exactly like from the game. It’s like an Excalibur that can hold it tightly just to call King Arthur’s name. Or the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda that has the power to fight the evil forces who tries to obtain the Triforce to use its own evil deeds to take over Hyrule. Peter was obsessed with the game when he since he was a kid, but suddenly it became a legend for the sword collectors to have the sword from the game. The writer seemed that he has done a lot of research from the game to fan base in the modern times and the artist, he made his artwork so unreal, he even designed the real sword like it was nothing. The character designs are great to have some expressions to know what’s going on during the story. The coloring is great too, the artist has made the drawing great which will make this book easy to read for the readers out there. I would recommend this book whether or not if you old dudes played SwordQuest from Atari 2600, then this is for you.
