The Power Rangers are fighting their own battles against Rita and her henchmen in the second issue.

The last review was slick because I just literary spout it out about everything is wrong with Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers comparing to the Zyurangers. But Power Rangers and the Super Sentai are still awesome, not to judge the difference of the Japanese footage and the story, but now let’s get on with the story.

So as last time, the Power Rangers had teleported to the Bandora’s Palace (I’m not making it up, it says on the castle’s name on the first issue and some footages from the actual show), but then Rita and her henchmen have the Rangers surrounded thanks to her magic, the Rangers is having a hard time fighting and getting away out of this mess. After that, Alpha 5 teleported the Rangers back to the base, even so, he didn’t notice that Rita has been using her magic to protect the palace without any contact from Zordon’s base. However, the astronauts who were investigating at the Planet Nemesis were found and being rescued, but the Rangers weren’t satisfied because Rita is so powerful, she can use her magic wand to make her monsters and herself grow in a distance, but now’s not the time. The Rangers started training so they can become strong enough to take on the forces of evil. And just until then Finster created a new terrifying monster and Rita sends it to earth to make a havoc in Angel Grove.

The story is amazing just to have the Rangers back in action, and the illustration is flawless. Even though the story takes you some the present of the arrival day, but suddenly the issue gives you some flashback of the teenagers’ normal life before Rita’s resurrection. However, everything goes flawlessly but they’re still teenagers with their school life. But life is complicating for them because suddenly they get problems with their parents and even Kimberly’s boyfriend reflected her with his feelings, and he walked away very cold. No other Ranger had faced any other problems with their life, except Bulk and Skull, but the Zyurangers faced any other kinds of problems during their adventures to finding the legendary weapons, the dino crystals for the Megazord, the dinosaur eggs, and even finding the elixir for the dying Green Ranger and some fan boy of the Dragonzord. However the Power Rangers will face their enemies just yet, because who know what Rita will do next on her sleeves, but we’ll find out in the next issue.
