Fathom Events screens Batman and Harley Quinn, a day before the digital street date.

There was a long line of people ready to see an advance screening of the latest Warner Bros. Home Entertainment film: Batman and Harley Quinn. People dressed in t-shirts of their favorite characters and there was some even in cosplayer. Harley Quinn has become quite the popular character. Needless to say, the audience was excited.

The lights went down and the crowd went wild. The film started and it was…..well you’re just going to wait for our official review when we take a look at the home edition.

After the main feature, there was a little tease of one of the featurettes on the Blu-ray entitled the Harley Effect. It started Paul Dini and Bruce Timm talking about the creation of Harley Quinn, as well as a psychiatrist analyzing the character. It really got me intrigued and I can wait to see the rest of it.

I really love these Fathom Events. The concept that theaters all over America are showing the same thing at the same time is a cool concept. Plus this film is truly meant to be seen on the big screen.

Spawned from an original story by animation icon Bruce Timm, Batman and Harley Quinn arrives August 29, 2017 as the first Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack ($44.98 SRP) release of a DC Universe Original Movie; Blu-ray Deluxe Giftset ($39.99 SRP), featuring an exclusive Harley Quinn figurine; Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP); and DVD ($19.98 SRP). The Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in 4K with HDR and a Blu-ray disc featuring the film; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the film in hi-definition; and the DVD features the movie in standard definition. The Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Combo Pack include a digital version of the film. Batman and Harley Quinn comes to Digital ($19.99 HD, $14.99 SD) on August 15, 2017.
