Aaw man I love this comic! Gotta admit not a massive Superman or Damian fan but really enjoying them here.
The dynamics between the sons and their fathers are something to behold the way they interact with each other and bounce off one another as well is brilliant. Damian and Batman have me in complete stitches when Damian silences his dad and Superman questions it Batman is just like ‘yeah I know he gets it from me’ I mean that is just perfect.
Being with Jonathon is helping Damian without him even realizing it, it’s probably part of Batman’s plan for Damian to have at least some semblance of a childhood which he is unwittingly getting through Jonathon and his enthusiasm. The boys really are like chalk and cheese though! How they react when they get their surprise shows just how different they are, Jonathon is all excited and pure while Damian is skeptical and cynical he won’t let himself show excitement.
Hopefully, in future issues, we see the boys in their day to day life to see how they balance their crimefighting with schoolwork etc or rather how Damian deals with normal folks without knocking them out!
This series continues to be a fun read and is a brilliant mix of action and humour.
