Ruff is facing financial ruin, Reddy is plagued by a reawakened fear of success, and Pamela has her own agenda.

Pamela shows the boys the value of signing with her management company by arranging a convention appearance – and then by cleaning up what would otherwise have been the resulting PR nightmare. The seeming wide-eyed innocent of last issue has revealed herself to be considerably more cynical.

There is a deep cynical streak in this book, but it’s not entirely without charm. The writing is still crisp, the art is still pretty, and the easter eggs are fun to find. Check it out.
