Brand-New Episodes Feature Selected Fans’ Colorful Creations

Starting tonight, fans can tune-in to see if their SpongeBob SquarePants: You Bring The Color submissions were selected to debut on-air as part of Nickelodeon’s You Bring The Color week, running Monday, Nov. 6, through Friday, Nov. 11, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Since July, fans have helped color brand-new SpongeBob SquarePants content for a chance to have their creations featured on Nickelodeon.

During each nightly premiere at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT), a unique version of the iconic theme song featuring the selected fans’ names will appear on screen alongside their colorful creations.

You Bring the Color week culminates with Friday’s all-new black-and-white episode, “Squid Noir,” where colored submissions will fill the final scene. In the episode, Squidward’s clarinet goes missing and he must become a hardboiled detective to track it down.

Additionally, Jeff Garlin (The Goldbergs) makes his Bikini Bottom debut in Wednesday’s premiere, “Cuddle E. Hugs,” on Nov. 8, 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT). In the episode, SpongeBob’s new friend is a giant fluffy hamster, but there’s one problem: no one else can see him! Garlin guests as the titular “Cuddle E. Hugs,” a rotund hamster who loves to snuggle and is impossibly fuzzy and incredibly fun.

The website www.YouBringTheColor.com will remain open for fans to keep creating and collecting their own designs until Dec. 31, 2017. Codes to unlock additional exclusive scenes to color can also still be redeemed with specially marked packages of products for a limited time. Partner products include General Mills GoGurt, Frankford Gummy Krabby Patties Candy and International Vitamin Corporation’s SpongeBob Gummy Vitamins.
