DC and IDW Comics brings you the second part of the best vigilante heroes crossover which is Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II on its first issue.

Unlike the last crossover series that I’ve read, more authors are just kept creating more of these crossovers. Not only that it’s epic to work together as a team, but they actually make the best Batman and TMNT crossover that ever made in human existence. But once again, on this series, they haven’t met themselves yet when the time is right to cross over from other worlds.

Even so this is the second part of the crossover, and of course, they already met from their past adventures to fight against the foot clan and the villains from Gotham. But of course, the only ones that were crossed to another world in this comic series is Bane and Donatello. Nothing ever had done this before, the story is shown some imagery to show how the turtles and Batman played out during on their missions as vigilantes. However the thing is that those two had something in common, they actually lived in a dark city with full of criminals to put them to justice.

About the art, I’d just wish that the second part of the crossover would be the actual animated series and the Nickelodeon series. But instead, we get the artwork like the one who made the other Batman comics were “The Merciless” and “Batman Who Laughs.” Nothing seemed too different coming from the artist who made this comic. However the characters were shown so much detail, but we get one of the turtles’ character design from the cartoon in the 2000s and it’s not so much shown any difference because Donatello is wearing his gadgets all over his shell. The foot ninjas weren’t as intimidating, but Bane is. However, the foot clan wasn’t as much than before, now they’re wearing some ancient Japanese armor and a spear to attack the turtles. The story, however, kicks back from the beginning either the turtles and Batman were busting crime on every night until Donatello kicks in to warp to another dimension to Gotham City. So the second part of the crossover is really great, but this is only the second part of the series. However, if you rather go through the first part, my guess is the Batman and TMNT Adventures from IDW.
