This is easily one of my favourite comics at the moment and this issue doesn’t do anything to change that. The way it is written and the artwork makes it such an exciting comic that really draws you into the lives of these hillbilly vampires!
Landry is so pleased with himself he reckons that he has taken over and finally got the best of the Bartletts but judging by their reactions I don’t think Landry is as safe as he thinks! Uncle Bartlett is weaker than Landry’s brood at the moment because they have been eating so he gets overpowered and Landry is keeping Perry dosed up so she can’t do anything either.
There are so much things to love in this issue, Landry hints that Perry is far more powerful than even she knows so I can’t wait for THAT reveal and there are some doubts about JV’s story being over I mean if he comes back then it is all going to hell for Landry! But my favourite thing to happen in this issue is a little background crossover as the cops listen to a football game involving none other than Southern Bastards Running Rebs meaning that both of these fantastic comics are set in the same universe!!!
