Craw County is on a knife edge right now things are unraveling quickly for Coach Boss and the Rebs!
I absolutely love this comic, and this issue epitomizes the reason why! You just never see the turns and twists coming and they are always big twists Southern Bastards doesn’t shy away from anything. The Rebs are getting thoroughly humped and with Materhead nowhere to be seen Coach is getting frustrated but goddamn he knows how to give a halftime speech just when you think someone has the better of him it gets twisted dude is like a cockroach.
Esaws luck goes from bad to worse as well this issue but unlike coach, he doesn’t land on his feet, in fact, we don’t even see where he lands!
Southern Bastards pulls no punches, its a no holds barred look into a violent situation that Coach Boss is quickly losing control of, and it won’t get any easier in the next issue going by this finale! Has he finally met his match and is he going to pay for his crimes or will he weasel his way out again? With this comic, you just never know
