After last issues absolute bombshell final cliffhanger I was a little wary about what was going to happen here!
The Internet BLEW UP after the events of last issue which had Bruce and Diana away to kiss after a decade fighting the everlasting horde! I am not going to give away the outcome of that embrace but Damn Tom King knows how to court controversy and isn’t afraid to pull the reader in just to seemingly dash their hopes for a happy ending.
The Gentle Man may have spent thousands of years fighting the everlasting horde but even he isn’t sold on the idea of crossing an angry Catwoman! When Selina finds out about the ‘catch’ of the deal she makes it VERY clear that its over but yields a little for her romantic side.
You have to feel for the Gentle Man and his sacrifice I mean Batman and Wonder Woman only survive because they have each other and when one cant go on the other picks them up, The Gentle Man does it alone so you can’t blame him for wanting a break and he’s right, if he said oh yeah btw every hour is a decade then its doubtful anyone would take over for a bit! Its a brilliant step in Batman and Catwoman’s relationship and Catwoman is yet again showing that there is far more to her than we are used to seeing.
