This the one Batman movie I didn’t see, why because I felt it was going to be put on TV (if it did I never saw it).

So, what did I think of it, WOW it was great and since this is a remaster edition now I can say double wow? The action was great, the different animation styles were unique and I loved the special feature.

The chilling special features are the Mr. Freeze timeline, Art of Batman: a music montage, the trailer for this movie and Get the picture: how to draw Batman. Before I get into the specials the story of this movie is about Mr. Freeze trying to help his wife who was accidentally knock out of her tube and it becomes a race before time to help her by getting her a transplant. Great story a must-see for true Batman fans.

So, about the specials. The first is the Mr. Freeze Timeline or as its called the Mr. Freeze saga: Starting with Heart of Ice (Batman the animated series), Deep Freeze (Batman the animated series), Cold Comfort (The new Batman Adventures) take note that this movie is between Deep Freeze and Cold Comfort and Meltdown (Batman Beyond). It was great seeing these episodes again. Next is the trailer which is nice to see how it was promoted and then we have Art of Batman: music Montage which is a storyboard of the movie set with music instead of the normal talking about it and last but not least Get the picture: How to draw Batman where you see how to draw Batman’s head.

Overall I love seeing this movie (finally) and all I can say is wow.

Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero will be available at wb.com/warnerarchive and your favorite online retailer on March 27.
