BOOM! Studios’ Lucy Dreaming issue 2 is a charming tale of preteen drama, but its lead character, Lucy, would fly off in a rage at hearing this!

Lucy has the ability to travel to a dream world, where she becomes a costumed villain! Oops!! But that’s not the only complication, there are others, including falling asleep in class, and continually embarrassing herself in the Real World. Toss in a couple of scientist parents with an eye to tinkering with quantum physics, and you’ve got the setting for this imaginative drama!

Written by Max Bemis and drawn by Michael Dialynas, this is a well-written exploration of preteen life, Lucy Gone LUCID!

Boom Studios, Lucy Dreaming #2, (of 5) $3.99 for 24 pages of content, not rated but assume Teen

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
