What a cliffhanger we left it at last issue and the tension is incredible as Artemis and Bizarro face off.
Bizarro opens up to Artemis about his addiction and has some really moving moments about his inevitable relapse into stupidy while Artemis shows how strong their bond is as she helps him take those difficult first steps to combat addiction. Red Hood meanwhile is managing to draw the attention of The Penguin as he fleeces one of the Penguins casinos which of course doesn’t go down well and Jason has to make a hasty exit.
I love Alfred, he takes some abuse from all of the sidekicks and never really gives it back worse than a few absolute belters of a one-line comeback. Addiction is a really tough subject and I think it’s being covered pretty fairly and inoffensively as Bizarro hides it from his friends showing you even the superheroes can feel powerless sometimes
