As Batman and Catwoman prepare for their upcoming wedding, things are getting out of hand! It’s issue 49 of DC’s Batman, and you better get to the church on time!

Written by Tom King, this issue has art by Mikel Janin, with June Chung on color.

It’s tough times for Batman. Unconscious at the hands of The Joker, Batman must rely on Catwoman for his rescue. But The Joker has some things to say to Catwoman. The Joker is taking this wedding hard. As crazy and manic as he is, there is a method to his madness. But he is facing a very dangerous stalemate, one that can kill Batman, Catwoman, and him!

A really gripping read, this issue delves deep into the psyches of Joker and Catwoman. Without revealing anything untoward, you will enjoy the interplay, intense drama, and fabulously well-illustrated chapter, leading up to the big wedding!! If anyone survives.

By the way, the variant cover by Olivier Coipel is amazing.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
