First things first, if you saw spoilers for this issue and think its pointless reading it then you are wrong whatever the outcome it is a brilliant issue!
We start off with a little throwback character and lead into a history of the Bat/Cat relationship that reads almost as if it was them reciting their vows, it’s really moving. The pages throughout are a beautiful mixture of different renditions of the characters by different artists and seeing all the different styles is pretty awesome and all the while the story builds as the wedding begins to come together.
The moment that Bruce and Alfred share had me welling up and if it didn’t move you then you must have a heart of stone! And then………. Well I’m not gonna ruin the ending now am I?
Tom King has done something special with Catwoman and really made the character into a major Dc player and she has yet another amazing issue here as she comes to terms with the gravity of what shes away to do this is to be the wedding of the year and what a final panel that is a massive throwback and opens it all up for the next 50 issues. Anything and everything is sure to happen
