In a week of spoilers Skottie Young has managed to keep this bombshell well under wraps I’m not going to say but its a doozy bit kind of fitting as well.
Fairyland is under attack and surprisingly needs Gertrude to save it and even more surprisingly with the power of kindness! A pretty epic battle ensues and Gertrude finds herself once more being screwed over by fairyland but you don’t survive for 40+ years without learning a thing or two and she plays them at their own game and wins well kind of!
This continues to be a breath of fluffy fresh air as the brightness and ridiculousness of fairyland never dulls and is always ready to surprise you with something so gory and fantastic that you have no idea how they got away with it except this time it wasn’t gory it was just unexpected Gert is actually genuinely NICE TO LARRY! I mean you just don’t see it coming!
Then end of the issue is very fitting and Gertrude could not have picked a better two words, to sum up, the experience
