This issue won me over straight off the bat with the iconic doctors mask character design
Cassie’s aunt comes to the rescue but it seems like it’s very grudgingly and she would rather not get involved. I love that her Aunt is so grumpy and she can only barely contain the annoyance at having to bail them out of the situation. Cassie and Vlad meanwhile find one of the coolest ways to weaponize their surroundings that I have seen before, Gold Star for continuity and for the unexpected.
I love Vlad and Vampirellas little love interest side story going on its about time Vlad a little distraction in his life and it’s nice to see him all nervous and was embarrassed for a change. There could definitely be an opportunity of a prequel spinoff starring Aunt Carraway das she is badass. I Would 100 percent read it.
