Comic Review: Burnouts #5 (Image Comics)

Wow, what an ending to book one! This is just the beginning and it looks like the Burnouts are out of their depth!

Fighting their friends was never going to be easy but it ended with a disastrous outcome! On a plus note Andy is coming into his own as a burnout yeah he got blindsided but it still looks like he’s going to be a positive member of the team and they will need all the help they can get now. The aliens seem to be well on their way to take over as bigger and bigger targets are revealed to be already aliens who can the burnouts really turn too anymore? The fate of Manny is a real shame but it shows how ruthless the aliens are and if they pin the aftermath of the rooftop event onto the burnouts too they could be in REAL trouble!

I don’t know how the aliens can be stopped but then sometimes the best ideas come to you when you are drunk or high so maybe the Burnouts will get creative and find a way to save the day, in any case, it’s only going to get more intense from now on!
