I just love the sanctuary it may be a little voyeuristic but the vulnerability that you see is just incredible, Boosters smudge speaks volumes about what the superheroes go through all the time, even Superman gets super emotional as the stress takes its toll. It’s just a really powerful read!
The choice of having Harley and Booster be the two suspects is a stroke of genius as in a story that is so hard-hitting emotionally it takes a lot for there to be humour as well but Booster and Harley are the perfect antidotes. I love Boosters plan and the fact he thought of it while just sitting chilling with beer and pizza regardless of the fact that he’s on the run from some seriously powerful superheroes and Harley just oozes psychotic innocence while Batgirl continues to spoil her fun with the whole no killing thing!
Each issue brings up more questions just when you think you have it figured out and there is still a long way to go before we discover what the hell actually happened in Sanctuary! I can’t wait
