Caliban is the Build-A-Figure in the new Marvel Legends X-Men wave

When Caliban first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #148, he was a member of the underground dwelling mutants known as the Morlocks. In his first couple of appearances, Caliban had a skinny stature and really wasn’t much of a threat. When the Morlocks were killed off, Caliban sought power for revenge. He ended up turn to Apolocypse, who increased Caliban’s strength and powers and Apolocypse made Caliban his Death horseman.

Hasbro has given us a version of Caliban on when he first gained his new powers. This is an impressive Build-A-Figure.  The sculpt is very comic accurate and very menacing. Very cool.

I’m loving the paint apps on Caliban. At first glance, they look very basic, but when you look at his face there’s all this shading around his face. It’s details like this that I love.

The figure was very easy to put together. All the joints were nice and tight. This is a solid figure.

Caliban was a great choice for a Build-A-Figure. I’m glad to have him in my collection.

Many thanks to Hasbro for sending us the X-Men wave so we could build Caliban!
