Everything about this comic is epic but Canto is the hero we all need!
For such a little guy Canto sure knows how to pack a punch and not just against the Malorex. For not really being able to see his face it is amazing how emotive wee Canto is when he was scared my heart was in my throat for him, when he faced his fear my heart leapt with him and when he was protected my heart melted. I don’t know if its the classic underdog tale or just the small stature of Canto but I just can’t help but root for him and feel 100 percent invested in his story.
The artwork in this issue is just incredible the fight scenes are captivatingly exciting and the scenery as a whole is so detailed and beautiful it draws you straight in and doesn’t let go. Cantos eyes are a work of genius the amount of emotion flowing from them is unreal you can almost literally feel the determination and the fear with just the eyes to gauge by, it’s very very well done!
2 issues in and this little hero has me completely engrossed and with him every single step of his epic quest, this better end well or I may not make it
