For young readers, IDW’s My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic #79 brings young adventure!

The newest issue is written by Sam Maggs, with art by Toni Kuususto and colours by Heather Breckel. There are three different covers offered, so be sure you purchase just one copy. (Unless you collect variant covers, don’t be confused and accidentally purchase the same issue twice just because the covers are different)

The ponies are setting up the Ponyville Anniversary Spectacular in the centre of town, and need to lead Mayor Mare away from her office. They have a surprise in store. But can Apple Blossom pull the wool over Mayor Mare’s eyes long enough for the caper to take place?

There are a few lessons to be learned in patience, tolerance and working with others, but it’s all in good fun.

IDW, My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic #79, $3.99 for 24 pages of content.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
