I do love a bit of Norse mythology and this is a beautifully dark take on Thor.
The Gods are dead, Ragnarok had happened and the bad guys won! Now Thor has returned to set things straight. I really liked this comic seeing Thor as a skeleton warrior and Ratatosk being sarcastic and moody the whole time really gave it a good balance between action and comedy. I absolutely LOVE the artwork it is just incredible as Odin recalls the battle of the Gods and what happened, the artwork brings it to life perfectly and captures the ferociousness of the battle and the epic task Thor has ahead of him.
Thor may just have to face a battle of his own as his enemies track him down and come at him in full force as although he is the thunder god, he is just one God against who knows how many bad guys! Will he be enough to survive and what happens to the world if he does? A brilliant read and beautiful even just to look at.
