Is Everything, issue 2, from Berger Books’ imprint at Dark Horse, ‘The Evil That Never Arrived?’ Well, it’s out this week, so this book HAS arrived!

Written by Christopher Cantwell, and illustrated by I. N.J. Culbard, Everything is the 1981 storyline about a new big box store. It’s hiring! Wow, what a godsend to a small community with high unemployment!

Until it becomes clear that there is a mysterious dark energy presenting through Everything. Hypnotic, malevolent. And like, “everything”. So rad, so tubular.

It’s a good read, and a fun concept to explore. The drawings are clean and functional, perfectly suited for a story about a brand new ‘category killer’.

Dark Horse, Everything #2, $3.99 for 24 pages of content. Assume Teen +

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
