I really feel for Reverend Penrose the poor man just can’t seem to stop Billie from getting into trouble!
Its the time of year that Witchfest comes to town and of course Billie misreads the situation and ends up in the depths of the occult, and thrives in it. I really love this comic Billie is naive to the point its actually quite endearing while Maggie is just a riot and loves it when Billie leans to the dark churches way of things.
As much as I feel sorry for Penrose he is such a good character to read. There he was fighting the crusade night after night and now, nothing. it should be really sad to watch but there is something hilarious about watching him trudge along carrying his shopping while getting frustrated with Billie yet again and just basically trying to fill in his time I love it.
The arc concludes in the next issue (i hope this is just the end of this arc and there will be much more steeple to come) and I cant wait to see how it plays out.
