Here’s me thinking that this was going to be a standard hero quest comic. Nope!

The twist at this issue’s finale came out of nowhere, I love it! Bloody Bliss may have finally gotten the chance to face D’kayde but there is no way she could have guessed this outcome and she may wish that death came for her instead.

Gaspar’s son wanted Bloody Bliss but not this old crone before him, he wanted the Bloody Bliss of days gone he wanted a figurehead to inspire his men nothing more. Bloody Bliss is no figurehead and she is no one’s puppet, she is a warrior and by God, she showed it here, against far superior numbers she plowed headfirst into battle with a broken sword no less but she may be in for the hardest fight of her life.

I expected the final battle between D’kayde and Bloody Bliss to be epic but this was something else and this changes everything. I can’t wait to see how Bliss handles this and what it means for the war that is raging!
