Who ya gonna call? 100 percent in calling Ghostbusters, I loved this comic
Rebecca Morales is researching a book on the Ghostbusters and first up on the interview list is Winston Zeddemore the newest recruit. It was really cool reading about his first days on the job and his first bust (i love Edgar Allan Poe so it was even cooler) and I’m really looking forward to her interviewing the rest of the team. I’m not going to lie I did find myself reading most of it in the voices of the film characters but they have drawn them so perfectly it felt rude not to, especially Janine who was just spot on.
My only gripe is that I felt a missed chance when Winston was asked if he was scared he could have said: “I ain’t afraid of no ghost” but that would be totally selfish nostalgia on my part! The feel of this comic is perfect for the Ghostbusters, it was funny had a little smidge of fear added in while always feeling like the Ghostbusters just didn’t quite have a handle of what they were doing, exactly how I remember them!
I can’t wait to read more
