Diamond Select has given us a Vinimates figure based on the Rocketeer.
If you’re not familiar with Diamond Select Toys Vinimates like, they are 4-inch vinyl statues that are sculpted in the Minimates style. Unlike the Minimates, they can put a lot more details into the sculpt. And this one of the Rocketeer is no different.
This is the Disney movie version of the Rocketeer and not based on Dave Stevens’ art. While I’d love see one base on Stevens’s art, I’m OK with this. It’s really accurate. It looks like the way it does in the film. Seriously, right down to the pantaloons. I also love how on this Vinimate you can turn the head to pose it. This is the first time I got a Vinimate with this feature so I really like it
Bottom line how can you not have the Rocketeer in your collection. This is a much buy. And best of all, you can buy at your local comic shops, which should be open now!
