Pixie Trix Comix crushed its initial goal of $43,000 CAD and has since blown through several stretch goals including the big $50,000 goal unlocking yet another 32-page one-shot, Incredibelle, superhero from the pages of Nightgale, in her solo comic debut!

“We are incredibly thankful to our amazing backers,” said Pixie Trix Comix creator and founder Gisèle Lagacé. “We hope they enjoy what this Kickstarter has to offer as much as our previous efforts and want to thank everyone for their continued support to help us keep making comics that you’ll enjoy.”

Pixie Trix Comix, Volume 1 begins collecting the first year of the series, which spun out of the now concluded Ménage à 3 which featured a comic book shop called Pixie Trix Comix. This 120-page manga-size b&w paperback tells the story of the shop’s employees starting up their own comic publishing as well as their own comedic personal life struggles. It is written by Gisèle Lagacé (who also provides art) and David Lumsdon.

Zii and the Troublemakers is a full-color prestige one-shot graphic novella that stars Zii from Ménage à 3 and sees her out on tour with her band, picking up where her story in Ma3 left off. With tensions rising within the band (both creative and sexual) their latest cross-country stop in Vancouver may or may not be their farewell gig if they can’t keep it together. Zii and the Troublemakers marks the first full-color in-continuity story set in the world of Ma3. Guest stars fan-favorite characters Gary and Yuki! Plot by Scott Duvall (Army of Darkness/Bubba Ho-Tep, Heavy Metal Magazine) and Gisèle Lagacé, script by Scott Duvall, art by Gisèle Lagacé, colors by Anwar Hanano (Accelerators), and letters by Taylor Esposito (Elvira, Bettie Page).

In addition, backers can pledge to higher tiers to add Zii and the Troublemakers posters, guitar picks, stickers, buttons, and more to their order.

Eerie Cuties returns in a new-reader-friendly one-shot featuring three brand new stories! Starring vampire teen sisters, Layla and Nina, Eerie Cuties: Sisters will explore their sisterly bond in this full-color one-shot written by Scott Duvall, drawn by Gisèle Lagacé, colored by Nick Caponi (Vampirella), and lettered by Taylor Esposito. For the uninitiated, Eerie Cuties was a comedy/horror series concluded in 2015 and follows various monsters (vampires, werewolves, witches, etc) in high school. This highly anticipated revival includes stories about gaming addiction, family reunions, and dating, sure to please longtime fans as well as new ones.

Incredibelle is the latest installment in the growing interconnected superhero universe first introduced in Carmen Chamelia which casts Pixie Trix Comix characters into the roles of superheroes, villains, and sidekicks. This continued in Nightgale, in which the character of Incredibelle was first introduced. As a single woman, Incredibelle tries balancing hero duties with dating both on Earth and in the farthest reaches of space! This full-color one-shot is written by David Lumsdon (Nightgale, My Little Pony: The Manga) drawn by Fernando Ruiz (Die, Kitty, Die!, Archie vs Predator), colored by Anwar Hanano, and lettered by Taylor Esposito.

The Kickstarter is currently racing towards another major stretch goal, which would unlock Ultraluminals #1, a superhero team book that expands the Pixie Trix super-powered universe even further. Written by David Lumsdon drawn by Gisèle Lagacé, colored by Anwar Hanano, and lettered by Taylor Esposito.

The Pixie Trix Comix Volume 1 & more! Kickstarter will conclude on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 7:33PM PT, so don’t delay and pledge away!
