Finally, a comic that addresses the harassment of Mermaids!
I really loved this comic, the look of it, the humour, the intrigue. It all blends together brilliantly. A few key moments for me were the narrator twist, THAT union flag, the full page sex scene, and the line “but only because you are really good at it” it cracked me up.
I love the look of it it looks like a what a classic spy novel would if turned into a comic full of suave men and pretty ladies except these ladies aren’t here for eye candy, they are all top of their field. The absurdness of the island appeals to me to with their mermaid problems and quite possibly the threat of a Krakken attack as if they were normal occurrences make me smile and the visitors coming off the boat are well worth a closer inspection.
Nora is a brilliant character, she’s sassy and doesn’t take any bs and it will be very interesting to see her grow and see where her story goes from here. I can’t even imagine what they will come up with and if Nora is going to be able to cope with her own surprise ending
