Big Girls, the Image title about how men get big, go bad, and mutate in the future, stomps by the comic shop to toss down issue 3.

This issue is a quick bumpy read, a fast stroll, a trip around the block in a hurry. It has big shoes to fill and not much time to do it. It’s twenty pages of story plus cover this time around, plus plenty of letters to read from comic fans. And a sketch or two to round things up at the end.

It’s like huuuge panels, some double-page spreads, as the action thunders overhead. Yelling! The men are monsters, but some of them are okay and can talk. No matter, let’s get at ‘er! Let’s chase those crazy baldheads out of town, far away from the safe area of the city. Stay big, stay frosty!

A bit of back story, loads of great big drawings of powerful action. More yelling, and it’s time to pull up their socks, pull up stakes, and head home for some home-cooked nutshells.

Story by Jason Howard, art and colouring also by Jason Howard.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
