In celebration of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI) in May, DC and Warner Bros. Consumer Products will honor the diverse culture, history and art of the AAPI community with four new t-shirts available on DC Shop featuring a selection of AAPI art, along with a Monkey Prince t-shirt based on original art by Bernard Chang.

Inspired by a Chinese folktale, Monkey Prince is the great sage, equal to the heavens, and can transform into 72 different formations—all while trying to pass his classes at Gotham High, $25.

Additional t-shirts available featuring the new variant cover art include:

  • Batgirls: Rule the bright lights and dark alleys of the big city in this Cassandra Cain t-shirt based on art from Audrey Mok, $25.
  • Nightwing: Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month like Nightwing and the Bat-family do in this t-shirt based on art by Jen Bartel, $25.
  • Superman: Love and cherry blossoms are in the air as Jon Kent and his boyfriend Jay Nakamura share a romantic moment in this t-shirt based on art from Brian Ching, $25.

More info on the AAPI Heritage Month celebration, including the seven AAPI themed variant covers available all this month at local comic shops and a new comic series DUO, can be found on DC Comics blog post: DC To Celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

All of the T-Shirts can be found at DC Shop.
