Vampirella and her team are in dangerous territory as the threat of those possessed by the Drujh weapons has increased tenfold! Whatever is brewing within Sepuclher City is about to get a whole lot worse for Vampirella and her allies, and if they don’t stop this threat, it will consume all of Sepulcher City and all life in existence.

Tensions rise as Vampirella and her allies, Dervish, Jeannine, and Passion are in for the fight of their lives against the hellish threat known as the Drujh as it continues to possess and infect all those that it comes into contact with. Sniegoski ramps up the action and mystery as Vampirella gets one step closer to solving the case. The issue is action-packed, fast-paced, and bloody, which by all merits fits the criteria for this series in all the best ways possible. If there is anything that I enjoyed most about this issue is seeing how the team works together as they try to solve this investigation. Seeing how Passion is used when in tandem with Vampirella and others makes for a cool plot device and aesthetic choice for any character that Passion comes into contact with. The Drujh threat is terrifying in how it infects and twists one’s appearance and psyche, and the way Sniegoski portrays these figures as they wreak havoc is both entertaining and fearsome.

Jonathan Lau illustrates the book with bloody action, and well-drawn layouts, which are embellished further with Omi Remalente Jr’s color work. Jeff Eckleberry is in charge of lettering, placing the narrations, dialogue, and sound effects appropriately with the art established within the book. It’s visually a fun read and another solid installment to this series as it gets closer to conclusion making it worth adding to your list for new comic book day
