Oh. My. Gods. “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” Merchandise Celebrates the Worthy Champion and his Shazamily


In celebration of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and DC have revealed a global collection of new merchandise including toys and collectibles, apparel, homeware, publishing and exclusive games from Warner Bros. Games inspired by the action adventure and perfect for the whole family. Arriving in theaters from Warner Bros. Pictures internationally beginning March 15 and in North America on March 17, 2023, New Line Cinema’s “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” continues the story of teenager Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego. The new must-have merchandise, including products from global partners McFarlane, Spin Master and Funko, lets fans experience the spirit and fun of the “Shazamily,” a family of young super heroes learning how to juggle teenage life with saving the world.

Toys & Collectibles: The famous collectible manufacturer McFarlane has a stunning Shazam action figure based on the new film. Designed with ultra-articulation and up to 22 moving parts, this 7-inch scale Shazam figure is available now at major retailers and DC Shop ($19.99).

Recreate your own epic adventures with the Shazam 12-inch Action Figure from Spin Master. Featuring 11 points of articulation and highly detailed movie styling complete with a real cloth cape, DC fans can engage their imagination and bring their favorite movie moments to life. Funko’s collection celebrating “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is a must-have for collectors everywhere.  Brought to life in Funko’s signature style, the lineup introduces new Pop! figures of Shazam, Super Hero Eugene, Super Hero Mary, Hespera, Super Hero Freddy, Anthea, Kalypso, Unicorn, Super Hero Darla and Super Hero Pedro ($12 each). Publishing: Ahead of the film’s release, star Zachary Levi and members of the cast join some of comics’ most popular writers with the release of Shazam! Fury of the Gods Special: Shazamily Matters, a one-shot anthology from DC on sale at participating comic book shops and digital retailers on Tuesday, February 28. This $9.99, 96-page giant not only features a story from Zachary Levi, but also includes tales from several of the film’s stars. Adam Brody, Ross Butler, D.J. Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey and Faithe Herman are writing adventures spotlighting the characters they portray in the film, with help from some of the most recognized storytellers in comics, including Colleen Doran, Josh Trujillo, Tim Seeley, Scott Kolins, and more. The book will include additional contributions from film director, David F. Sandberg and writer Henry Gayden, with art from Freddie E. Williams II, Andrew Drilon, Scott Kolins, and others. Fan-favorite artists Jim Lee, Alex Sinclair, and Scott Williams will provide the main cover, with variant covers by Mayo “Sen” Naito, Logan Faerber and Stephen Byrne, plus a special photo variant cover featuring the Shazam! family in full costume. Warner Bros. Games: To celebrate the release of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” Warner Bros. Games will introduce Wizard Shazam as an all-new premium character in the DC Legends mobile game. During the month of March, players can participate in a special Team Siege event to earn fragments of Wizard Shazam for a chance to unlock this character.

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios will also add a brand-new Legendary Shazam Hero to the roster of Injustice 2 Mobile this March, inspired by the Super Hero’s appearance in the new film. Featuring a unique move set based on his abilities from the film, this powerful character can attack opponents with crushing Lightning Strikes and even call on his superpowered family to help win the fight.

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, signed partners include Pyramid International for posters and gifting, Bandai for characterized soft plush toys and Akedo Footwear for Shazam-inspired footwear. On Amazon, consumers will be able to shop exclusive designs from partners Brand In and Trevco across a range of apparel including graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts and vests. E-Cell is also collaborating with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to produce a range of mobile phone accessories, whilst Desenio will extend its DC offerings with a selection of iconic Shazam posters.

In Mexico, Spin Master’s 12-inch Shazam action figure will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. Beginning in March, Cinemex theaters will offer fans a collectible glass available with purchase. New apparel from Máscara de Látex and Epicland in Mexico will include t-shirts and sweatshirts in stores and online.

In Brazil, Spin Master’s 12-inch Shazam Action Figure will be available at major retailers Ciatoy, PBKids and RiHappy. Online shoppers can purchase the collectible on Amazon, Mercado Livre and Superlegal. Carrefour, Lojas Americanas, Pão de Açúcar will also offer a special “Shazam! Fury of Gods” chocolate egg just in time for Easter. FanLAB will feature customizable t-shirts. Brazil’s official DC Store will have home decor and apparel for fans. Jandaia has developed colorful notebooks, perfect for students.

Across Asia, retailers and suppliers in the home and apparel space have partnered with WBDGCP on some truly innovative “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”-inspired designs and products. In Thailand, fans can rest easy with a line of awesome cushions, blankets and travel pillows from Ocean Toys, available from March. In the Philippines, Goldwing, a major apparel supplier of large-scale retailers, has created a line of t-shirts showcasing Shazam and his “Shazamily”. The range will be available shortly and is priced from US $8-$12. The Souled Store, one of India’s leading fashion apparel partners, is also readying a line of branded t-shirts available from March.
