The Guardians returns for one last adventure!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the final chapter in the Guardians saga, and it definitely a great end to the story. It did well in the box office and pretty much a hit. I personally loved it. You can check out our full review HERE.

I had a chance to check out the digital download and it’s a great copy. The picture and sound are are impressive. Just like it was in the theaters.

As always with all home releases it’s the bonus features that make the film.

First up is The Imperfect, Perfect Family. This consists of interviews with the cast and director about the film and what is like working with each other for the past 9 years. This cast really has respect for each other and have fun with each other. How this cast really became a family like their characters. Very insightful.

Next is Creating Rocket Raccoon which is all about translating this anamorphic character from comic to the screen. It’s really a team effort to bring Rocket to life, and how Vol. 3 is all about his journey. Truly enjoyable.

There are some deleted scenes, which when you watch you can see why some of them were left out. But there are some that I feel would have added to the film. I’m always curious why some of these were left out.

A gag reel. Bloopers and some silly pranks. All I can say it looks like the cast and crew is having a lot of fun.

Finally there director’s commentary. This part is what I always love. It’s really interesting getting into James Gunn’s head with every scene.

All these bonus features really show that how much of master filmmaker Gunn is. So all you Zack Snyder fans can go blow yourselves, because after watching all of this, the DC Comics movies are in good hands. The Snyder cult is just a bunch of clueless crybabies.

I am going to miss the adventures of the Guardians, but this film is a great send off.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently available on Digital Download, and arrives on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD on August 1.
