Warner Bros. Japan Announces Original Anime Series
Suicide Squad ISEKAI
WIT STUDIO Serving As Production Studio
Warner Bros. Japan LLC has announced that production is currently underway on Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new original anime series based on the characters from DC. The news was announced today at Anime Expo 2023 during a special panel presented by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, the celebrated Japanese studio behind notable anime series such as SPY x FAMILY and Ranking of Kings.
Produced by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be directed by
Eri Osada from screenplays by Tappei Nagatsuki (Re-Zero – Starting Life in Another World) and Eiji Umehara (Vivy – Fluorite Eye’s Song).
The announcement art featuring Harley Quinn in the ISEKAI style comes from the internationally recognized manga artist, Akira Amano (REBORN!).
