It’s the final seven days to back Crusade Comics’ ninth Kickstarter, The Shi #1 30th Anniversary Original Art Edition.
Since its launch last month, the special hardcover The Shi #1 30th Anniversary Original Art Edition has unlocked four Stretch Goals, enlarging the books dimensions to Omnibus Size, adding gold foil and spot gloss enhancement to the covers and a premium stock wraparound dust jacket exclusive to backers. Crusade has just announced the campaign’s next Stretch Goal, the sewn-in, satin bookmark ribbon.
Celebrating Thirty-Year’s of Billy Tucci’s multi-Eisner Award nominee, the 30th Anniversary Original Art Edition is the complete and seminal “Story of Shi”. A 112-page, hardcover coffee table sized collection that is literally 30-years in the making. The omnibus-sized tome contains the complete and remastered original 32-page, Shi: Way of the Warrior #1 plus over seventy additional original pencils/inks and hand-painted colored interior pages, cover designs, and insight into creative process and development.
The campaign also offers many other Shi-related items including prints, apparel, challenge coins, trading cards and special editions, including the SHI #1 PENCILS’ DOWN ASHCAN EDITION. This limited, 32-page comic books features Billy Tucci’s never-before-seen Shi: Way of the Warrior #1 original penciled pages.
The Shi #1 30th Anniversary Original Art Edition Kickstarter closes on January 10, 2024.
