Kevin Cuffe and Kelly Williams, the eerie storytellers behind Skeeters, take you through the creepy corridors of small-town terror and the art of crafting unsettling narratives. Sam Freeman and Sam Romesburg introduce Hound, set amidst the brutal trenches of World War I and speak on how war turns men into primal beasts. Rich Douek delves into the unnerving atmosphere of A Phone Call Away, exploring suspense and surreal horror. This panel offers a unique opportunity to discover the creative processes behind these chilling narratives and meet the artists who bring them to life.
Fantasy for Kids and Teens: Graphic Novels from Papercutz and Maverick Sunday Sept. 22, 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm | Room: 337   Embark on an exciting journey through the enchanting worlds of Papercutz and Maverick with the creators who bring these stories to life. Jeremy Whitley introduces School for Extraterrestrial Girls, a thrilling narrative in which students navigate the wonders and challenges of an extraterrestrial education. Joe Corallo reimagines King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, giving new life to the legendary tales of chivalry and heroism. Chas! Pangburn presents Double Booking, a unique flip graphic novel that follows siblings Otto and Nan on a double-stuffed adventure in Egypt. This panel promises to inspire young readers and anyone with a love for fantasy and adventure.
